Hi, I’m Naomi—a photographer, videographer, and storyteller with a love for turning ordinary moments into something extraordinary. I have a passion for romanticizing life, capturing nostalgic, dreamy visuals that make you pause. The world is moving, and so are the stories we tell. While a picture freezes a moment in time, a moving picture adds depth, emotion, and life. My videography brings aesthetic, dreamy, and nostalgic vibes to every project, whether it’s showcasing the beauty of a destination or creating a poetic narrative. I aim to make each video not just visually stunning but emotionally resonant—something that draws you in and makes you feel the beauty of the world around you. With every frame, I strive to appreciate for life’s small, meaningful details.

My Journey: 

My love for photography and videography didn’t just happen overnight—it’s been a lifelong journey shaped by the people and places that have inspired me along the way.

It all started in my childhood, where I spent countless hours with my dad, helping him edit our family home videos on his trusty video camera. Those moments weren’t just fun bonding time—they were the foundation of my editing and videography skills. By middle school, I was already comfortable with editing tools and discovering the magic of storytelling through video. That’s where my dream of becoming a creator was born.

In high school, photography entered my life almost by accident. A last-minute favor for senior photos sparked something inside me. What began as casual portraits for friends quickly evolved into something more. Encouraged by a friend, I applied for a visual arts Sterling Scholar scholarship, which pushed me to take my photography more seriously. I started experimenting with exposure and composition, striving to make my photos more artistic and meaningful.

From there, my creative path truly began to take shape. I captured everything from my sister’s wedding photos and video to school dance pictures, family portraits, couple shoots, and engagement photos. Each session was an opportunity to grow and refine my style.

My journey took an exciting turn when I landed an internship in Alaska. Living there for the summer changed everything. I fell in love with landscape photography and videography, drawn to the grandeur of nature. It was in Alaska’s rugged beauty that my work began to embody the dreamy, nostalgic quality that defines my style today.

After Alaska, I moved to Kauai, Hawaii, where the natural beauty of the islands inspired me further. Capturing the sky, sea, and lush landscapes of Hawaii—a place where I could fully embrace my creative vision. Later, in San Diego, I continued honing my skills, blending landscapes with the artsy, romanticized aesthetic that had become my signature.

Now, I’m back in Hawaii, ready to turn my passion into a full-time career. I’m constantly pushing myself to learn, grow, and master the art of photography and videography. This journey has been filled with lessons, breathtaking moments, and a relentless pursuit of creativity. I’m excited for what’s ahead as I continue to tell stories that are as dreamy, nostalgic, and vibrant as the world around me.
